First and Second Annual Swim for the Salmon Photos
Captain Quinn & The Adventures care about the environment. We recognize that a healthy environment equals healthy people. Since everything we do takes place in the great outdoors we feel a deep sense of responsibility to not only preserving but also enhancing the health of our environment. As a step towards improving the health of our environment we founded the non-profit organization, TENUK, www.tenuk.org. Tenuk is an environmental non-profit dedicated to restoring pacific salmon populations in BC. Captain Quinn has volunteered his time with various salmon enhancement organizations including the Squamish Stream Keepers and the Sunshine Coast Salmon Enhancement Society. He has organized the first and second annual swim for the salmon as part of and initiative to restore salmon runs that have been destroyed by industrial activity in the past.
